Bio-bibliographical List of Resources
This assignment is meant to be a credit-earning opportunity (worth 10% of your grade) that will increase long-lasting research skills in your historian’s toolkit. Specifically, it is oriented to refine your database research abilities and to familiarize you with both biographical and bibliographical resources that are often used in the historical field.
This is the deal:
1. Select a historical figure within this course time scope. The only requirement for that figure is that he or she must be an author (the writer of a book, article or another text). This is because you will need to find some of his/her works in our databases, in addition to resources about that figure.
2. Search the Touro Libraries catalog and article databases for articles and books both ON and BY that figure. Seven resources (any combination of biographical/bibliographical) should be fine.
3. Then list your “Bio-bibliographical List of Resources” in MLA Style, classified under two subgroups: Biographical Resources (Resources about the figure) and Bibliographical Resources (Resources by the figure).
4. Submit your list of resources as a word document to my email: joana.fernandez3@touro.edu by March 2nd.
Over and out.
