FAQ: TUS Print

What happens if I need a refund due to a printing problem?

To get a refund for a print job that malfunctioned, open a case at help.touro.edu.

Can I get a refund for unused printing funds after leaving Touro?

There are no refunds for unused printing funds. When adding funds to your account, make sure that you only add the amount needed for current printing. The minimum amount that can be added to your account is $2.00.

Why can't my card be used for Tap-to-Print?

Only some Touro ID cards are proximity cards. Not all locations currently have this feature. All users can log in to a printing device with their TouroOne portal credentials.

Can I print in color?

Most printers are black and white printers and do not print in color. Check with your local IT support staff to find out more about your local printing options

What if I’m printing and the printer runs out of paper?

Contact the local IT support staff at your site for assistance with paper supplies.

What if the printer I’m trying to print to does not work?

Go to the next available printer and log in there to release your print job.

What is the cost for printing?

All students are given an annual printing allotment: 1,000 prints for graduate students and 500 prints for undergraduate students.
Once your allotment is used up, the cost for printing is $0.05/B&W print. A 2-sided B&W print is $0.08/print.
