ProQuest RefWorks

This libguide presents a tutorial for RefWorks, a citation management tool

RefWorks FAQs

Will I be able to access my RefWorks account after I graduate from Touro?

Yes, alumni will be able to RefWorks after graduation. Before graduating, students should change their role to "Alumni" and update their email address to a private, non-college account. For more information, please see: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Knowledge_Articles/Alumni

Can I use RefWorks on my iPad?

Yes. There is not currently an iPad app for RefWorks, but you can use the program on the Safari browser or use the mobile version of RefWorks called RefMobile (https://refworks.com/mobile/). You can find more information about using RefWorks on your iPad here: https://askus.library.tmc.edu/faq/1998

What do the different versions of a citation style mean?

The versions are related to how information about the materials you are citing gets pulled in from a source. To find examples of how this might apply when using APA 7th edition, for example, please see this answer in the RefWorks Customer Knowledge Center: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Knowledge_Articles/Using_APA_7th_Edition_in_RefWorks You should choose whichever version aligns with your assignment; when in doubt, please reach out to the Libraries for assistance.
