According to the Encyclopædia Britannica Physiology is the, "study of the functioning of living organisms, animal or plant, and of the functioning of their constituent tissues or cells."
While anatomy and physiology are often taught and lumped together, anatomy is specifically the study of the structure of the body and its individual parts, while physiology is about how those parts function and relate to one another.
