Printing at the Library

The University has implemented a single printing platform that will allow the community to print to any TUS printer, at any campus throughout the Touro University system.

Common Errors

  • If you're printing from a desktop, make sure you are logged in to the computer.
  • If you're printing from your own device, make sure you're connected to Touro University WiFi.
  • If you're out of money in your print account, the printer will let you know and you can follow the instructions on the How to Add Funds Page.
  • If the printer is jammed or out of paper let a librarian or IT staff know and we will fix it. In the meantime, you can use another printer.
  • If your print malfunctioned, go to the Service Now page to request a refund.

Get Help

If you can't talk to a librarian or IT technician in person go to help.touro.edu and open a case. A help desk member will respond shortly.

How to Change your TouroOne Password

1. Go to touroone.touro.edu

2. Click 'Forgot Password?'

3. Enter your TouroOne username and click 'Next'

4. You may be asked to complete captcha

5. You will need to verify your identity using one of your security methods

Do not select 'Email'. The only email option you'll have is your Touro email address, which you do not have access to check if you do not know your password.

When you select phone, you will have the option of receiving the code via SMS or receiving a voice call

If you'd like to authenticate with a different method, click 'Verify with something else'

6. Submit the request code and click 'Verify'

7. Create your new Okta password. Please be sure to fulfill all the password requirements listed above

8. Re-enter the new password. Check the box if you would like Okta to sign you out of all your other devices. Then click 'Reset Password'

9. You will now be signed into the TouroOne portal

For Staff

  • The printer will have a low paper or out of paper warning even if you don't use that drawer. Just ignore it and check paper levels at the beginning of the week/day if your campus is busy.
  • Click the status monitor button in the bottom left corner of the screen to check toner levels.
  • Follow the on screen prompts to deal with jams.
  • Don't load too much paper at a time. If the trays are too full they jam more easily.
  • When in doubt, talk to IT. There are always other printers in the building.
