This guide contains the application for the Touro University Open Educational Resources (OER) Faculty Fellowship for 2022. This fellowship is presented by Touro Libraries in collaboration with the Office of the Provost. Use the tabs to navigate to the application form and the rubric used for selection.

The deadline for application is May 13, 2022.

When the fellowship period begins, this space will serve as a homepage, with more resources and information forthcoming. 

Eligibility

Eligibility:

  • Any full-time, part-time, or adjunct faculty member in the Touro University System with anticipated teaching responsibilities for 2022-2023 academic year 

What is OER?

According to OER Commons, "Open educational resources (OER) are teaching, learning, and research resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual property license that permits their free use and re-purposing by others." An OER gives you the rights to retain, reuse, revise, remix, and redistribute materials.
