Touro Scholar: Inclusion Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

To be considered for inclusion in the Touro Scholar Institutional Repository, a work must:

1. Have had at least one faculty/staff author affiliated with Touro College and University System at the time of publication.

2. Match one of the following publication types:

  • Published work in a scholarly, academic, or professional publication:
    • Abstract
    • Bibliography
    • Book (authored/edited)
    • Book section (authored/edited)
    • Conference/symposium paper (published in proceedings)
    • Dissertation
    • Encyclopedia entry (scholarly or academic)
    • Journal article
    • Letter to the editor
    • Monograph
    • Review of a book or film
    • Test review (in Mental Measurement Yearbook)
    • Textbook
    • Translation (of literary or scholarly work)
  • Creative work:
    • Artistic work (poetry, novel, short story, published play, art exhibit, musical score, choreographed dance, etc.)
    • Patent
    • Software or website (on a significant scholarly, academic, professional, or creative topic)
  • Presented work on a significant scholarly, academic, professional, or creative topic (if the presented work itself is made available for upload):
    • Poster presentation
    • Slide presentation
    • Video presentation
