The 150 Psalms that constitute Tehillim express the whole gamut of thought and emotions, speak to the human beings' greatest spiritual longings, constitute poetry with theurgic and substantive theological purpose, contain esoteric encrypted mysteries concerning the nature of reality and the cosmos, serve as a source of spiritual-intellectual-moral guidance, offer an encoded inter-textual blueprint for interpreting the Torah, give comfort-hope-guidance and redemptive significance for all of life's joys and challenges, and add expression to the life of King David, who is also represented in Shmuel Aleph & Bet and Divrei HaYamim.
